Ajax Load More Pro is a paid WordPress bundle for loading content without refreshing the page. A query selects the items to display; infinite scroll, load more controls, and lazy-loading processes determine how visitors access them. The bundle delivers access to all current and future Ajax Load More add-ons in one installation.

It supports posts, pages, custom post types, comments, multipage posts and pages, and WooCommerce products. Available extensions add infinite scrolling for WordPress terms, lazy loading for visitors, WordPress REST API compatibility, and results from Relevanssi or SearchWP queries.

Query options determine the results

Use the Query and Shortcode Builder to adjust WordPress query parameters for post types, categories, tags, custom taxonomies, search terms, dates, authors, and other available criteria. The Advanced Custom Fields integration supports Flexible Content, Gallery, Relationship, and Repeater fields. Progress bars can indicate Ajax requests, while scroll containers keep infinite scrolling within a parent area.

Data prefetching can load the next set of posts into memory before a visitor uses a load more button or infinite scroll. Preloaded content lets you load initial posts before sending Ajax requests to the server. The SEO add-on generates unique paging URLs for each Ajax Load More query.

Templates determine how results appear

Repeater templates let you edit and extend the display to match a website's design. Templates can also be loaded directly from a theme directory, and multisite compatibility supports managing repeater templates across a network.

For development work, Ajax Load More passes PHP variables to each repeater template and dispatches callback functions during extension lifecycle stages. WordPress filter hooks let developers insert or modify data. Template variables include $alm_current for the current entry number, which resets to zero with each Load More action; $alm_page for the current page; $alm_item for the item's number within the loop; and $alm_found_posts for the total posts found by the query.
