Controls by area and version
The free version covers user enumeration, author archives, the capital_P_dangit correction, Screen Options and Help, the Howdy message, admin-bar navigation, and Clean Dashboard. Its other controls include emojis, embed objects, Dashicons, Heartbeat, XML-RPC and pingbacks, the generator tag, WLW manifest, Really Simple Discovery, short links, RSS feeds, REST API access, the Block Library, and application passwords.
Additional listed options cover Privacy Tools, the Site Health page, adjacent post links in the header, version query strings after styles and scripts, PDF thumbnails, and Empty Trash with its period shortened to one week. The extension and theme editor, oEmbed, and remote block patterns are also listed among these controls.
PRO controls include completely disabling comments, WordPress updates, update email notifications for themes and add-ons, post revisions, search, lazy loading, and administration email verification prompts. They also cover the WordPress login logo and favicon, right-click behavior, the admin footer, and selected elements from Yoast SEO, WooCommerce, Elementor, Jetpack, Contact Form 7, Autoptimize, and W3 Total Cache.
Review settings before applying them
Choose only the controls that fit the site's publishing and administration needs. Disabling shared functions such as REST API access, search, updates, or application passwords can affect processes that use them. Save the settings after making your selections, then return to the same page if you need to turn an option back on.
