How Knit Pay Pro connects WordPress payments
Knit Pay Pro connects payment gateways with compatible WordPress extensions for store, course, membership, donation, booking, and form payments. A supported WordPress extension is required to present payment methods to visitors. Gateway and payment method availability depends on the selected integrations.
Gateway examples include Cashfree, Instamojo, PayPal, RazorPay, SSLCommerz, Stripe Connect for Indian businesses, PayU India, Easebuzz, CCAvenue, PhonePe, MyFatoorah, Flutterwave, Paystack, Mercado Pago, Midtrans, eWay, Revolut, Paymob, and PayTabs. Options also include regional and international gateways, QR services, cryptocurrency gateways, and payment libraries. Some integrations require a premium add-on or contact for availability.
WordPress add-on examples include WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, Paid Memberships Pro, LearnPress, Give, Ninja Forms, Tourmaster, MemberPress, and Bookly. Depending on the gateway and plugin, payment methods can include debit and credit cards, UPI, netbanking, EMI, and wallets.
Order updates, links, and buttons
Knit Pay Pro can update WordPress order payment status automatically. When the selected gateway supports webhooks, webhook messages provide real-time payment status updates. Configure the gateway and connect it with the relevant supported plugin.
Manage multiple payment provider configurations in WordPress. If a gateway does not offer its own payment link capability, Knit Pay Pro can make a branded link from the WordPress dashboard. You can also create multiple payment buttons with Gutenberg blocks and Elementor.
Automatic currency conversion changes an amount to a currency supported by the payment provider when the supplied currency is not accepted. The plugin also supports WordPress Payments REST APIs and the AI Abilities API, which lets users ask AI to create payment requests and check payment status.
Payment reports and setup
The built-in analytics dashboard includes multi-currency reports on revenue trends, success rates, gateway performance, payment methods, and integrations.
To set up payments, install and activate Knit Pay Pro in WordPress, configure the required payment provider or providers, and connect each selected gateway to a relevant supported plugin. Set the payment options, then add links or buttons where needed. For order status updates, configure webhooks according to the selected gateway's instructions.
