Feed playback helps listeners find episodes
The responsive layout adjusts to the listener’s device and the player’s container width. Live search lets visitors view the episode archive, while Pro’s approximate search checks episode titles and summaries. Playback controls include play and pause, speed adjustment, previous and next episode, and forward and backward skips. Listeners can also share episodes and use subscription buttons for services such as Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and Spotify.
Feeds can also supply video podcasts, including MP4 files and HLS/m3u8 streams.
Display controls organize the episode list
Choose whether to show episode titles, descriptions, and artwork, change the accent color, and sort episodes. Pro adds player, list, and grid layouts, along with filters for choosing which episodes or seasons to display.
Post imports bring episodes into WordPress
Pro can import feed episodes as WordPress posts or another post type. For a feed-free setup, add audio MP3 files to posts or other post types and play them with the player.
Player placement and feed updates
Add the player with a widget, shortcode, editor block, or Elementor. After installing and activating the add-on, enter the feed URL, choose the display settings, and place the player where visitors can find it.
WordPress caches RSS feeds for 12 hours by default, so new feed episodes may not appear until the cache expires. To refresh manually, go to Dashboard > Settings > Podcast player and use the Feed updation tool in the toolkit.
