Total Upkeep Premium connects backups with WordPress recovery
Total Upkeep Premium combines WordPress backups with tools for recovery, site checks, diagnostics, and migration. Schedule backups for a chosen time or make them manually. If an update fails, auto rollback can restore the site to its pre-update backup. Site Check looks for errors at configured intervals and can email an alert and restore the latest backup when it detects an error.

Choose the backup contents and destination
Back up the full WordPress installation and database, or select specific files, folders, and database tables. Before creating an archive, Total Upkeep checks whether the server has the capabilities needed to create it, a check intended to help protect backup integrity.
Total Upkeep works with remote storage over FTP and SFTP. Premium can automatically upload archives to Amazon S3 or Google Drive, keeping another copy outside the website installation.
Restore an archive or a particular file
From the Total Upkeep Dashboard, download, restore, or delete backups. Premium also lets you restore a single file from the backup browser. Historical Versions lists the backups that contain a file, so you can identify an earlier copy and restore that version. Other Premium tools search recently modified files, save a copy before an update, and display comprehensive update history.
If WordPress itself is corrupted, a restoration script provides a recovery path from outside WordPress. This is useful when the regular dashboard is unavailable.
Check site errors and move a WordPress installation
Site Check monitors for errors at specified intervals, keeps a historical error log, and includes diagnostic tools for investigating problems. When it detects an error, it can send an email alert and automatically restore the site from the latest backup.
To clone or migrate a site, install Total Upkeep on both WordPress installations, create a backup archive on the source, then restore it on the destination using a protected link. Total Upkeep can also be used with Cloud WordPress to create staging sites for testing extensions or themes.
Configure backups and check installation requirements
Install Total Upkeep on the site you want to protect, then select a backup schedule, contents, and storage destination. Configure Site Check intervals if you want monitoring. For migration, install the extension on both websites before creating the source archive and restoring it on the destination.
