PiWeb Live sales notification for WooCommerce Pro adds sales notification popups to a WooCommerce store. Choose whether users see activity from original orders, virtual orders, or both.
Choose which activity to show
Original orders can appear in a live feed of purchasing activity. Virtual orders can be generated from visitors’ recent product views or from products you select. They are created at runtime and removed afterward rather than stored on the website. The feed does not require a separate backend platform.
Set the order age used for the feed, then select products where applicable. These choices determine which activity the notifications draw from.
Write the notification message
Create custom text using {date}, {time}, {first_name}, {city}, {state}, {country}, {product}, and {price}. For original orders, these values come from the order; for virtual orders, they are generated automatically.
Pro lets you select date and time formats and show how long ago an order was placed, such as “2 hours back.” The user’s actual country can be used in fake sales popups. Administrators can exclude individual orders from the live feed.
Set privacy and stock options
- Let clients exclude their information from the live feed.
- Translate notification messages using the add-on’s translation system.
- Keep out-of-stock products out of notifications.
- Show remaining stock in a stock-related urgency message.
- Set a fake stock amount for products without stock management.
- Choose a placeholder image for products.
Customers can dismiss notifications, and you can set how long they remain disabled for that visitor. You can also disable the closing option so visitors cannot close a notification themselves.
Choose where alerts appear
Show notifications throughout the site or set page conditions for the front page, product pages, cart, checkout, shop, or product category pages. Pro includes animation options for showing and hiding popups.
Set the popup position, background color or image, width, image width, text color, font size, and font weight. Shortcode-generated text can have its own color, size, and weight. You can link the image to the product and choose whether the link opens in the same tab or a new tab. A setting in the basic settings can disable notifications on mobile.
Install and configure
Install the Pro plugin on your WordPress website alongside WooCommerce. In its settings, choose original orders, virtual orders, or both; set the order age; select products where applicable; write the message; and configure its appearance. Then choose the site areas where alerts appear and whether visitors can dismiss them. Theme editing is not required. Premium support topics receive a response within 24 hours.
