Add videos to WooCommerce product galleries
Video Gallery for WooCommerce Pro places product videos alongside product images in the native WooCommerce gallery. It also supports the WooCommerce Product Gallery Block, so you can add videos without shortcodes or theme file edits. WooCommerce must be installed and active.
PRO editions support unlimited products with video and up to six videos per product. Available editions are Single Site, Multiple Sites, and Unlimited; the edition determines which video sources and analytics are available.
Video sources and gallery options
Add MP4 or MOV files from the WordPress media library, or add YouTube videos and Vimeo videos by URL. YouTube and Vimeo are available on all PRO plans. Direct links to video files, including MP4, WebM, and MOV, require Multiple Sites or Unlimited.
- Drag and drop videos to set their order in the product gallery, and select a video as the product’s featured video.
- Select a frame for the thumbnail or upload an image. The add-on can also generate optimized thumbnails automatically.
- Set autoplay, mute, sound, and loop behavior for each video, and choose whether to display its playback controls.
- Use custom SVG icons in the gallery.
Featured videos play inside the gallery through the built-in VideoJS player. The gallery works on desktop and mobile.
Sticky playback and video analytics
With sticky video on scroll, the active video moves into a small floating player when its gallery slide leaves the viewport. Choose a top-left, top-right, bottom-left, or bottom-right position. Playback continues from its current state, and the player adapts to the source video’s aspect ratio. A close button returns the video to the gallery; scrolling back to the gallery also returns it.
The Video Analytics dashboard tracks views and watch time for product videos on every PRO plan. Advanced analytics include device charts, engagement metrics, location analytics, browser and operating-system tracking, heatmaps, and CSV export. These are included with Multiple Sites and Unlimited, or can be added to Single Site through the Advanced Analytics Add-on.
Setup requirements
Install and activate WooCommerce before using the plugin. Install and activate the paid edition, then open a product in WooCommerce and add videos in its product gallery settings. Arrange their order, choose thumbnails and playback options, and save the product. Video files must use a format supported by WordPress; MP4 and MOV work best.
The plugin works with default WooCommerce templates and includes additional support for known themes. Priority email support is included with the PRO offering.
